Rare poster announcing an appearance by magician John Calvert at the Schines Opera House in Kent, Ohio. Calvert was the top magician for the majority of the 20th century, performing thousands of stage shows and appearing in dozen of films. He was born in 1911 and lived to be 102 years old - he performed at the London Palladium on his 100th birthday! The poster is printed on thin cardboard and measures approximately 22"x28". The poster is in good condition but does have paper loss on the corners, small tears along the edges and staining along the bottom section.

Miss Curity is known at the "First Lady of First Aid" and she was the advertising face of the Kendall Curity Corporation for more than half a century. This figure measures 19" tall and is made of hard plastic. She was originally a countertop display from and old drug store and comes to us from Virginia. Miss Curity has aged better than most of us and is in great condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or other problems.
Price: $125 Sorry, she has found a new home
This unique camera was manufactured by Gennert between 1899 and 1912. It is a Long Focus Montauk reversible back folding glass plate 8" by 10" format camera. The camera is made of wood covered with leather. Overall measurements are 34.5" long, 14" tall and 13.5" across when open and folds closed to 14"x13.5"x8". The camera is in good overall condition with wear to the leather and a few pinholes in the maroon bellows. While vintage photography is a hobby of ours, we've never used a glass plate camera, so this one has not been tested. If it sticks around for a while I may decide to keep it and experiment with this format.
