This costume was originally used by the Keebler Cookie Company to promote their line of tasty snack products by sending the "elf" out for personal appearances at grocery stores, fairs and other public gatherings.  This costume consists of the large fiberglass head, a jacket, shirt/tie, hands, boot coverings and inner padding. Vintage Mister Steak Restaurant Cow Head Sign

 

This delightful sign comes from the long lost restaurant chain Mister Steak. The sign is made of fiberglass and measures five feet tall. He originally hung outside of the Mister Steak location in Youngstown, Ohio and was rescued by a former employee years ago. The cow shows some fading from decades of being displayed outside but is otherwise in excellent condition. We guarantee he will make quite an impression when hung on your kitchen wall!

Original Percy Turner Circus Sideshow Banner

 

Percy Turner was an African American sign painter in Southern California during the 1950's. Percy and his wife Joy always dreamed of owning their own circus and in 1958 their dream came true when a benefactor agreed to finance their dream. The Turner Brothers Circus toured California during the 1958 and 1959 seasons, before discovering their agent was skimming their profits, causing the circus to fold in July of 1959. This banner is an original Turner creation that was used during his time with the Turner Circus.
