Vintage Kerns Meats Advertising Statue

This fabulous piggy was made to promote the Kerns Meat Food company. He probably spent time displayed in a butcher shop or market advertising the Kerns line of products. He stands 21" tall and is made of a composition/paper mache type material. He has suffered some abuse over the years and shows the scars including dings, chips, wear and extensive material loss to the base. Even with the damage (we politely call it character) he is a special, one of a kind piece.
