The Charlatans were the hippest San Francisco band from the psychedelic era. They pre-date both the Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead...although they are virtually forgotten today. This poster is from a pair of performances in April 1967 and feature opening acts Canned Heat and Sparrow. Within a year, Sparrow would change their name to Steppenwolf and have a couple of hits you may have heard. The poster measures approximately 14"x20" and is in very good condition.

This poster is a bit of an oddball in the Deep Purple world. The show was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 1972 (original date is visible under a sticker with the correct date on the poster) By the scheduled date of 6/12 arrived, both Billy Preston and Family had cancelled and been replaced by Dio's Elf and ZZ Top. Before showtime, Richie Blackmore decided that a thunderstorm was approaching and refused to play, provoking the crowd of 50,000 to riot. All three bands had their gear destroyed and Cornell never had another rock concert at the stadium. The poster measures approximately 13.75"x21.5" and is in very good condition with a bit of wear to the corners, a few light creases and several small holes in the center of the poster (see close up photos).

This is an original promotional poster from the legendary Manhattan music store Rocks In Your Head. This poster measures approximately 21"x12". This poster features artwork by Richard Forlenza was printed in the late 1970's. It is an original poster from the early days of NYC punk/new wave scene and not a later reprint. The poster is in good overall condition but does have staple holes, tape residue and paper loss on the corners as well as a crease neat the bottom, across the Rocks In Your Head text. Even with the flaws noted above this is a rare poster...chances of seeing another is pretty unlikely!
